Obituary
Sean Kelley, devoted husband, dedicated father, loving son, loyal brother, passed away unexpectedly on March 9th, 2022.
Sean is survived by his mother; his wife, Maria Kelley and his children, Aidan and Megan Kelley.
Sean was born on February 21, 1971 to Pennie and Paul Kelley in St. Joseph, Michigan and he graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance. In the same year he graduated college, he married Maria, his college sweetheart. Sean devoted his life to Maria and their two children and founded Depasquale, Kelley & Co, which has been a mainstay in the community for over thirty years.
Sean was an avid fan of Mel Brooks movies and some of his fondest moments were movie nights at home with the kids, belly-laughing at genius comedic writing. He loved to travel and have adventures, from the Grand Canyon to the top of The Empire State Building, a trip on the London Eye or viewing the lights on the Eiffel Tower at night, he enjoyed every journey. He was a video gaming master and loved gaming with his kids and his nieces and nephews, sometimes “letting them win” and back in the day, his Tetris and Guitar Hero skills were epic! Sean was the life of the party with his witty banter and sense of humor, the laughter was never in short supply. Sean touched the lives of everyone he met and will be dearly missed.

Sean and I were great friends in high school. I have so many fond memories. We lost touch after his first year or two at ND. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was such a fun guy and an awesome friend.
