Obituary

Sarah Ellen Albright, 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at home in El Toro, CA on 12/21/15. Born and raised in Greenfield, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her younger brother, Art Nicley, and granddaughter, Chelsea Buckley.

As a young girl, Sarah met the love of her life. The high school sweethearts married, started a family, and moved west to California in 1966. Eventually, they settled in El Toro, CA where they dedicated their lives to raising their family.

A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and Nana, Sarah was fiercely proud of her family. She is survived by Don Albright, her devoted husband of 58 years; 4 children (Ann, Tim, Todd, and Teresa); and 8 grandchildren (Ashley, Brian, Nicole, Scott, Allison, Taylor, Sam, and Shawna). Her first great grandchild, a boy, Kody, is due in March 2016.

Always loving, supportive, and strong, her quick wit and kind heart will be deeply missed.

A private family service will take place on Thursday, January 14th. Interment will be at El Toro Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Lung Association.

  2. The highlight of being a neighbour of SARAH and DON was telling war stories to both and she always pretended to believe and care ——– that is true friendship —- bye RICHARD BATTERSBY

  3. Sarah was one wonderful lady and I really enjoyed working with her at the Roadrunner, and after she retired the times we went out to lunch! She was warm, caring, cheerful, quick to laugh and saw the goodness in life! She loved you, Don, and her children and grandchildren so much, and spoke highly of you all. Ann, it was so nice to get to know you through your mom. May God bless you all in your sorrow.

  4. Two of my favorite Silver Sneakers students. We had a connection and some good times. We had the midwest commonality and remember you and other SS who came to my daughters shower. You’ve got your own angel now Don and there’s no replacing her. You sure were lucky to have such a blessed long run.
