  1. Ryan –
You have been such an inspiration to so many people. My life is richer for knowing you and I am grateful for the lessons you taught me and so many others to live your best life.

    Thank you, brother.

  2. I will miss my conversations about business and the New England Patriots with Ryan. He was so happy and proud of his family and I had just spent time with him a few weeks ago catching up. Ryan helped me get a position in Channel Development and was always such a wonderful mentor to me during the 3-4 years we worked together. I was deeply saddened to hear the news and I wish his dear family the very best. I am so sorry and will miss Ryan very much.

Ryan, you will be greatly missed around here at the SSC. You were an amazing closer and Brady like under pressure but even more than that, you were a phenomenal human being and friend. I will always look back fondly on our impromptu lunches, league bowling nights and the Hawks home victory over the Pats! I remember you mentioning after the game that the Pats would be back one day and boy, were you right!

Hope you are doing well up there, brother!

    Thoughts & prayers,
    Kim

  4. Ryan you were at the heart of my Starbucks journey. You interviewed me in London, supported my hiring in Seattle, become my boss during the Teavana project, and most importantly became my very good friend. Your support and mentorship have left indelible marks on me as a person and I will forever cherish the moments we spent together.

I mourn your loss, but celebrate the legacy you leave behind. Rest in Peace my friend.

Ryan, you are like a little brother to me. The days we worked together at your family’s bookstore were some of the best days of my life. We had so many laughs and I so enjoyed your wry sense of humor. I will miss your smile and your great laugh.
I will always remember you dropping by my counseling office a few years later and you turned me on to Joe Satriani’s CD ” Surfing with the Alien “…still one of my all-time guitarists ! We always had such similar tastes in music and it was always fun discovering new artists together.
I was always deeply touched by the love and respect you had for your mom and dad and that protective streak you had for your sisters was a beautiful thing. I know you and Renee are doing some catch-up and please give her my love. I have the assurance and firm hope that we’ll have ample opportunity to hang out once again, but for right now, it really hurts and you are deeply missed.
