Ryan James Berger of Mission Viejo, CA, passed into the arms of the Lord on April 15, 2008. Ryan arrived on this earth on June 23, 1980 in Berkeley, CA. The family relocated to Mission Viejo in the summer of 1986. Ryan, who followed in his father's footsteps as an accountant, had also been active in the local sports community. An avid baseball player pitcher and third base, he also enjoyed football; snow skiing, soccer and swimming, an activity in which he served the community as a life guard and instructor. Preceded in death by his older sister, Jessica Claire Berger in 1974, he is survived by his loving mother, Carol Riddell Berger, father, James 'Jim' Berger, sister, Jamie Berger Garibay and brother-in-law, Carlos Juan Pablo Garibay of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, brother Craig Andrew Riddell Berger, and paternal grandfather Solomon R. Berger of San Francisco, CA, as well as two loving nephews, Sammy and Charlie Garibay also of Merida.
