Ruth LaRue
Born on May 22, 1915. Passed away on August 4, 2015 at home in Laguna Woods.
Formerly of Detroit, Michigan where she was born, and of Boynton Beach, Florida. Resided in Laguna Woods Village since 2000.
Preceded in death by Omer, beloved husband of 63 years.
Loving mother of Christopher (Patricia), Steven (Jane), and Keith (Berni); grandmother of 11 (preceded in death by one granddaughter); great-grandmother of 13.
Funeral Mass on Monday, August 17 at 10:00am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Laguna Niguel. Interment in Boynton Beach, Florida.

For those attending the funeral, the family suggests anyone who would like to wear Hawaiian shirts or summer dresses, please do so, Ruth loved Hawaii, and celebrating her life in such a way would make her very happy.

My darling friend Ruth,
The best smile in the room. Always smart, always capable, always thoughtful, a great listener and adviser, full of love for her family and friends. So many times she was like a second mother to me.
We shared so much together–family, bridge, books, fashion, politics, religion, recipes, jokes, our aches and pains, our loves, our memories, you name it, we talked about it–
I love you Ruth, I will miss you.
