Russ Oleson, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2009, with family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, of 51 years; son, Greg Oleson; daughter, Karen Hanley; 3 grandchildren, Brendan Hanley, Claire Hanley and Matthew Hanley; and brother, Kenneth Oleson. Russ moved to Long Beach, California from Iowa when he was 17 years old. He and Carol moved to Mission Viejo 7 years ago. Russ retired after 30 years from the City of Long Beach, Harbor Dept. as an accountant and city auditor. We love you and miss you so much!

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 11:30am at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest. Following the service, there will be Celebration of Life at the Casta del Sol Golf Club, 27601 Casta del Sol Road, Mission Viejo.
