Russell Jeffrey Hilber, age 39, died on August 20, 2012, in Orange, California. He was born October 14, 1972 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jeffrey G. Hilber and the late Julain Hilber Giessel. Russell was a 1991 graduate of Gunderson High School in San Jose, CA. He was a member of the Resurrection Life Ministry. He loved to play basketball and spend time with friends.

Russell is survived by his father, Jeffrey and stepmother, Shelley Hilber, of Vienna, Virginia; his stepfather, David P. Giessel, of El Paso, Texas; brothers Robert Giessel, Adam Giessel and Stephen Hilber; sisters Courtney Baker and Caitlin Hilber; and his maternal grandmother, Ann Hulita. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be private.
