Roverta A. Olinger
March 18, 1922 – May 20, 2016

Roverta A. ‘Bobbi’ Olinger went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2016. Roverta was born on March 18, 1922 in Northville, South Dakota to Robert Johnson and Maida Bechtel. After high school she moved to Seattle, Washington to work at Boeing Aircraft as a supervisor for the manufacturing of the B29 during WW II. Following the war in 1947 she married Francis ‘Denny’ Olinger and raised two boys in Whittier, CA. Roverta will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, humor, perseverance and most importantly, her service to the Lord.

Roverta is survived by sons R. Lynn and Ron Olinger and grandchildren, Jenson, Rachelle, David and Katlynn Olinger, Laguna Niguel, CA.

Celebration of Life service – Sunday, 29 May, 11:30am at Aliso Creek Presbyterian Church – 2A Liberty, Aliso Viejo 92656. In lieu of flowers, Roverta wished donations be made to Calvary Church, La Mirada and Aliso Creek Presbyterian Church, Laguna Niguel for missions.

  2. WISH I’d have known. Bobbi was a constant in my growing up years. Loved her and Denny so, so much. She was so gracious and displayed such grace and open heartedness. Sincerest condolences to Lynn and Ron , both I grew up with. She was an awesome friend to mother, and to me. Will love you forever, Bobbi. ?

  3. Bobbi and Denny were ln my life from my birth (71 years ago)… always thought they were my Godparents. They were both awesome, loving, caring, understanding and so, do gracious. I’be missed Denny, now I miss Bobbi. My love and sincerest condolence to Lynn and Ron and their families. ?
