Obituary

Rosita ?Rosie? Warner was born in the Philippines on August 28, 1956.  She grew up in Cebu and married Brad in the late 1970’s.  They made their home in Orange County where they adopted and raised two wonderful children.  With Brad’s demanding career in the USMC and later as a Deputy Sheriff’s with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Rosie chose an accommodating career as a hair dresser.  The family enjoyed vacations together, family BBQ’s and the many trips to the Las Vegas strip where Brad and Rosie enjoyed gambling.  She could wear the carpet out in a casino!  Rosie enjoyed life!  She loved to shop purses and shoes were her passion.  She collected everything under the sun.  Fairies, painted eggs, clowns, candles, parade cows, teacups, and most of all friends.  No color was too bright for Rosie.  Her smile was contagious, her life experiences countless, her positive attitude and wonderful advice was never ending.   Brad’s tragic death in 2001 left Rosie a young widow.   She met that challenge head on, many obstacles to concur, many chores to learn.  Rosie was a very giving person, sending clothing, supplies and money to help with college expenses and even building a compound for her family in the Philippines.   Rosie’s diagnosis with cancer in 2004 was devastating to us all.  She met that challenge head on chemo, radiation, and biopsy’s were never ending.   She still had her contagious smile and genuine concern for others.  On October 30, 2005. Rosie’s battle for cancer ended.   Now we are hurting, she is not.  Now we are sad, she is not.  Rosie may be gone from our daily lives, but will forever be in our hearts.  She has gone on to eternal life to join her family and friends in eternal life where there is no sickness or death.
