Rosemary Ann Sater was born on Feb 10, 1932 to Edwin Sigvald Sater and Dorothy Alice (Machomich) Sater in Minneapolis, MN. She died April 13th, 2026 at home. Her last 2 years she had 24-hour care.
During her lifetime she lived in South Pasadena, Los Angeles, San Clemente and Laguna Woods, CA.
She continued her education with degrees in Interior Design and Library Science. Employed by American Airlines for 18 years and then with her Library Science background for the next 12 years.
Rosemary was generous, independent, a lifelong learner and compassionate.
She was talented and enjoyed needlework and embroidery, crafts, knitting and reading.
Her compassion for animals was lifelong – dogs and cats were her children.
Very smart and detailed about bookkeeping and investments. She helped others by donating to 50 different charities and numerous people were blessed by her generosity – help with rent and paying for college education for relatives and friends. She wanted to know the people she loved were taken care of.
She liked her things in a certain way and would let you know if you moved something even an inch.
Church was a big part of her life. She was Episcopalian and very involved with Altar Guild and Episcopal church periodicals. She still kept current on what was going on in the church.
