Rosemary Bevirt
December 3, 1927 – Feb. 15, 2015

Rosemary Bevirt, 87, Mission Viejo, CA, died peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at home. She was born on December 3, 1927 to Daniel and Mae (Holcumbrink) Edwards in Belleville, IL. Her parents and her brother, Daniel F. Edwards, Jr. preceded her in death.

Rosemary attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO and served most of her professional career as a skilled administrative assistant. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, knitting, spending time with family, friends and her dogs, tinkering on her computer and attending church.

She is survived by two daughters, Cherie Batinga and husband, Al of Fountain Valley, CA, and Sue Hayes of Burbank, WA; a son, David Bevirt and wife, Lora of Potomac, MD; and six grandchildren, Kelela, Adam, Jake, Connor, Daniel and Sophie.

A burial service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 12:00 PM at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA, followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life at 2:00 PM for family and friends at Presbyterian Church of the Master, 26051 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA.

  1. We are so sorry to hear this. Loved this woman. Memories are too numerous to list. Cherie one of my favorites is a night we went to the lacledes Landing and Hollis had to purchase a few glasses. Our thoughts are with you all. Love and hugs.
