Obituary

With faith in the promise of resurrection, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roseann Marie Gonzalez (Vallejo), beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, Abuela, and dear friend, who peacefully left this world on June 25, 2026.

Roseann was born November 4, 1958, in Los Angeles, CA to Adam and Helen Vallejo. She spent her early years living in many places around the US including Sacramento, CA and Montgomery, AL. She also spent time San Javier, Spain while her father was stationed there in the Air Force. In 1973 the family went back to Spain and settled in Madrid where Roseann attended high school and continued to live there for college. It is in Madrid where Roseann met the love of her life Rafael, who she married in 1979. In 1980, Roseann and Rafa returned to Southern California to begin their life together. There they welcomed their two daughters, Michele and Vanessa, whom they raised with unwavering love and devotion. For the past 30 years, Roseann and Rafa made their home in Mission Viejo, where they built not only a successful business together, but also a life centered on family, friends, and faith.

Roseann passed away peacefully, on June 25, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones in the midst a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Through every challenge, she carried herself with remarkable strength, grace, bravery and an unwavering love for those around her.

Roseann was the heart of her family — known for her generosity, warmth, and the way she brought people together. She loved deeply and gave endlessly, creating a home filled with laughter, celebration, and unconditional love. To know her was to feel welcomed, supported, and cared for.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adoring Abuela whose grandchildren filled her heart with immeasurable happiness. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories and traditions that will be cherished for generations. Her legacy of unconditional love, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every expression of love she gave so freely. Roseann will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She is survived by her loving Husband Rafael, Daughters Michele and Vanessa, Mother Helen, Brother Tomas, Sister Linda, grandchildren Mia, Natalie, Claire, John, and Jane, and all whose lives were touched by her extraordinary spirit. Roseann has now joined her father Adam Vallejo in Heaven.

Her legacy will live on through all those who loved her, the traditions she built for her family, and whose lives were touched by her generosity. Forever loved, forever missed, may she rest in the peace and eternal light of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo on July 15, 2026 at 10:30am. If you are unable to attend the service it will be offered via live stream.

In honor of Roseann’s vibrant spirit and love of life, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing black and instead dress your best for her.

The family welcomes flowers to honor Roseann or, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to City of Hope Stomach Cancer Research.
