PATTERSON, ROSE M., 83, born March 10, 1924, in New Windsor, NY. She moved to California in 1952 with her loving husband, Benjamin H. Patterson, Jr. Rose passed away peacefully in her sleep, January 29, 2008, at her home in Mission Viejo, California. She brightened the lives of all who knew her and her smile will always be remembered. Rose's selflessness and positive outlook played an instrumental role in creating a large and loving family. She is survived by three sons: Ben wife Ronnie, Tom wife Patti and Jerry, and two daughters: Lorraine Bloom husband Bill and Rosemary Johnston husband Dave. Rose also had thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff wife Elise, Scott wife April, Rob fiance Renny, Heather, Courtney, Matt, Erik, Brett, Chad, Matt, Cory, Ryan, and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Alex. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were her life. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at St. Kilian's Catholic Church in Mission Viejo, at 11:30 AM with rosary preceding the service at 11:00 AM in the church.
