Obituary

Rose Ferrante Masciantonio passed from this earth into the presence of The Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Rose is survived by two sons, Ronald of Mission Viejo, CA. and Kenneth of North Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by one sister, Ann Salvagni of Solvay, NY and one brother, Joseph Lalla of Arizona.

Rose was born in Italy on January 10, 1914 and came to America with her Mom, Maria Lalla & a younger sister, Roswin Lalla. Upon arriving at Ellis Island, they immediately became American Citizens because Rose’s Father, Angelo lalla was born in Upstate NY.

Rose was married in Solvay, NY to Joseph Ferrante on April 30, 1932. They lived there until Joseph passed away on June 24, 1974. Rose later married a long time family friend, Nicholas Masciantonio on August 11, 1977 and moved to San Jose, CA where she lived until the passing of Nicholas on September 9, 1994.

After a time in San Jose, Rose’s son, Ron, moved her to Orange County, CA in 1996 where she lived in a private board & care home, until her passing.

Rose was deeplyloved by all who met and all who knew her. She will truly be missed although we know she is now in the Kingdom of God, in Heaven.

Services & burial will be held in Syracuse, NY on Friday, April 8, 2005. Her son, Ron Ferrante will deliver the eulogy.
