Rose Ferrante Masciantonio passed from this earth into the presence of The Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Rose is survived by two sons, Ronald of Mission Viejo, CA. and Kenneth of North Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by one sister, Ann Salvagni of Solvay, NY and one brother, Joseph Lalla of Arizona.

Rose was born in Italy on January 10, 1914 and came to America with her Mom, Maria Lalla & a younger sister, Roswin Lalla. Upon arriving at Ellis Island, they immediately became American Citizens because Rose’s Father, Angelo lalla was born in Upstate NY.

Rose later married a long time family friend, Nicholas Masciantonio on August 11, 1977 and moved to San Jose, CA where she lived until the passing of Nicholas on September 9, 1994.

After a time in San Jose, Rose’s son, Ron, moved her to Orange County, CA in 1996 where she lived in a private board & care home, until her passing.

Rose was deeplyloved by all who met and all who knew her. She will truly be missed although we know she is now in the Kingdom of God, in Heaven.

  1. My heartfelt sympathy Ron and Shar,

And this is eternal life, that they may know YOU, the only true GOD, and JESUS CHRIST whom YOU have sent John 17:3. I am continually with you; YOU hold me by my right hand. YOU will guide me with YOUR counsel, and afterward receive me to glory! Psalm 73:25 For Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in ME, though he may die, he shall live! John 11:25 Hallelujah!!!

Praising HIM that we will one day…SOON….all be together worshiping HIM for all eternity!

    In HIS love and compassion,
    Suzanne

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” Revelation 22:13.
Rose is spending eternity with the Lord, our God. That’s what I will remember about your mother, dear Ron.
God bless and in His Love.
    BN.

  3. Ron and Sharon,

You know all our thoughts and prayers are with you. What an inspiration you are, even in your grief. God bless you both and praises that Rose is now with Our Lord.

  4. Dear Ron and Sharon,
I just returned from Hawaii, and learned of Ron’s mother’s death. You and your family will be in my prayers. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. Your mother will be at peace in her heavenly home. God bless you all.
    Elise

  5. It is only our loss that Rose is in heaven with our Lord instead of here. This was shared at my Mother’s memorial, and it seems so appropriate now.

    Two tired eyes are sleeping.
    Two tired hands are still.

The one I loved so deeply
    is resting at God’s will.

May she always walk in sunshine,
    God’s love around her glow,
for all the happiness she gave me
    no one will ever know.

It broke my heart to lose you,
but you did not go alone,
for part of me went with you,
the day God called you home.

There is no greater role on earth than that of Mother, and therefore the loss seems even greater. A time of gratitude for our Moms, who come the closest to reflecting the unconditional love of Christ.

We stand with you at this time,
    Love, Gil and Mary Lou
