It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother Ronnie Eugene Adams. Ronnie was called to Heaven on October 14th, 2014 and was born on January 6th, 1944 in Lodi and raised in Congress, Ohio.

He moved to Orange County, California in 1976 and was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Adams (25 April 1911 – 23 December 1988) and Juanita “Bonnie” Saphronie Smith Adams (28 September 1917 – 27 October 1979), and daughter Jamie Lynn Adams (11 November 1975). He leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Eileen Faye (married July 2nd, 1966); sons Anthony Scott (Carey-Ellen) and James Byron; four grandchildren, Austin Kenneth, Alexa Solveig, Axel Graeson, Asher Mason; two sisters Hazel Louise Pelfrey (Don, deceased), Ruby Lois Adams (Don); and two brothers Kirby Edgar Adams (Janice) and David Eugene Adams (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was a respected field services manager with Control Components, Inc. for 38 years before retiring and focusing on his three loves; fishing, collecting, and his family. He was actively involved in the local auction scene and always in the garage working on his finds. He also had a love for old cars and owned numerous high performance and vintage mustangs over the years and was a member of the Saddleback Mustang Association. Ron was a major contributor to the success of CCI. His technical skill and knowledge were instrumental in resolving issues raised by the company’s customers. He had the respect of his peers, supervisors, managers and customers from all over the world. There was not a problem that Ron considered unsolvable and one of his most frequent comment was “No Problem.” He would then proceed to find a solution. We have missed him and know that he enjoyed his hobbies after retirement. .

Our condolences to the family, we will miss him.

    Former CCI VP of Operations

  2. I was a new hire to CCI, in the first week of May 2003, and Ron quickly became one of my favorite people. He was hard working, dedicated, and most importantly loved his family. I was very fortunate to have Ron share some of his life events and stories with me. My sincere condolences to the family.
