Ronald K. Siersbeck passed away at his home in San Juan Capistrano on Oct. 10, 2012. He was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 1, 1937 to Anker and Dorothy Bluemel Siersbeck. Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marian; a daughter Chrysanthe; a son Peter; sisters Beverly Hodges and Doris Kloth; and brother-in-law Luther Kloth.

Ron attended schools in Indianapolis. He received his Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Dana College, Blair, Nebraska, 1959; and his Master of Science in systems engineering from University of Southern California, 1968.

Early in his career as an aerospace systems engineer, Ron worked for Lockheed Missile and Space in Sunnyvale, CA. Later, he worked for the Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo, CA. Ron retired from TRW Systems Engineering Division as a program manager on various satellite programs in Redondo Beach, CA and Colorado Springs, CO.

A memorial service was held on Oct. 14, 2012 at Mt. of Olives Lutheran Church in Mission Viejo, CA. Contributions may be made in Ron's memory to Mt. of Olives Church.
