Dr Ronald Steven Bull, DDS “Steve” was born to Bethel and Robert Bull on July 18, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT and passed away in Mission Viejo, CA on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018. Steve is survived by his five children, Heather Hart (Brendon 19, Landon 14), Cindy Rangel (Kya 8), Melanie Stevens (Derek, Brooklynne 6), Scott Bull and Melissa Nienhuis (Joey, Caleb 12, Summerlyn 4, Kinsley 2). He is survived by his older brother Robert “Michael” Bull (Judy), and younger sister Barbara “Susan” Toone (Kent) and sister in law Ann Bull. He is also survived by his ex wife Lynda Bull, step son Josh Flink (Ann, Michael, Cody) and step daughter Johanna Flink along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve was predeceased in death by his parents, Robert E “Bob” and Bethel Bull, his wife Claudia Jane Bull (Winter) and his younger brother Roger “John” Bull.
Steve grew up in a very loving home. He graduated high school in Pocatello, ID and moved with his family to Fullerton, CA where he would meet his future wife and have five children and 6 grandchildren. He studied at San Jose State University and received his undergrad and proceeded to the University of Pacific Dental School where he received his Doctorates in Dental Surgery (DDS). He was the Student Body President at his University, leading and excelling, with a photographic memory and intellect to be admired. He opened his own dental practice in Los Angeles and later worked as Senior Vice President of Delta Dental of California. He raised his family in Laguna Hills, and Moraga, CA. After his wife, Claudia passed away of cancer he was remarried to Lynda Bull where they shared a beautiful home in Moraga, CA and thrived in the Bay Area.
He had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He easily made friends throughout his life with his outgoing nature. He loved fast cars and owned a Mustang, MG and a handful of Porsche’s.
He was a generous man, cared about others, loved his family and was loved by all.
He was diagnosed with cancer in late 2017 and suffered an array of other issues to his physical body until his passing. He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again dad!
The memorial will be on July 21, 2018 around 6 p.m. and it will be located at Crescent Bay Beach in North Laguna Beach, CA 92651 (use google or google maps & enter the above address) its in a neighborhood and parking might be difficult. Carpooling is recommended) You can also park on the other side of PCH on side streets by the store.
