Obituary

Ronald Allan Larson, 70, business owner resided in Laguna Hills died August 5, 2019 in his home from heart failure.

Born September 7, 1948 in Janesville, WI.  With his family he moved to Lakewood, CA in 1952.  And, moved to Newport Beach in 1964 where he graduated from Newport Harbor High School in 1966.  He went to Cal State Long Beach where he got his BS in Accounting in 1970.  When he was 20 he was a manager at a snack bar in Huntington Beach, CA, where he met his wife, Cheryl.

Together they had 5 children: Jeff, Leanne, Andy, Ryan and Michael.  He was a father that loved his kids.  He coached soccer, basketball, and baseball.   He often took the kids out to breakfast every Sunday morning. And, in the summer he took the kids to the beach on Sunday afternoons.    He was an avid card player, walker and talker. As the kids got older, he became his grandchildren’ biggest fan watching almost all of their sporting events.  He also loved to play tennis and pickle ball.  And, loved to watch sports.

He worked as an accountant before he started a circuit board manufacturing business.

He leaves behind his wife, Cheryl, his brother, Rusty, and his 5 children and 7 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Friday, August 16, 2019.

  1. Dear Cheryl! I was talking to Randy the other night and he told me about Ron’s passing! I’m so sorry and I’m still in shock a little bit! I enjoyed playing cards and shooting the breeze with Big R and we will all miss him! He was the patriarch of all of us and I just wanted to say we. Are all thinking of you and your family at this time! Prayers to you and the Larson family!!
