Rod A. Alvarado
Born February 17th, 1932 – Died August 22nd, 2012
Rod is survived by his four children, Bonnie, Victor, Georgina and Annette, and 8 grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan, Jazmin, Nicholas, Cooper, Malia, Easton and Olivia.
Rod was the owner of Lincoln Heights Professional Services since 1969. He enjoyed being able to help his clients in many different ways. He will be missed dearly by his family and all his clients who knew him.
He will have a memorial service graveside at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, September 8.

Armando was my uncle, I never knew him as Rod. I remember spending time at his home when I was a small child. These were family outings where all Armando’s family was including his own.

Rod will always be Armando to me. That is what my Abuela always called him. He was my uncle and I knew him before he was married and still lived in my grandparents’ home with Alicia, my aunt and Mario, my uncle. I can remember attending Armando’s wedding, I was only 7 years old. He had a great sense of humor and I loved him. He was always warm and kind to me. I’m glad I had a chance to be with him shortly before his illness – I will miss him.
