  1. The short time I knew Roc, he really impressed me with his strong and quiet demeanor. He was great salesmen, got me signed up with the American Legion post 291 in Newport Beach. Enjoyed having lunch there with him. At the gym, he was concerned about my lack of effort. We laughed about it. I will miss him.

Roc was a great person. He welcomed me as a part of the family over 30 years ago. He treated me like one of his other nieces. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. What a loss for those who didn’t have a chance to know him. RIP Uncle Roc.

  3. Roc was a 3rd cousin of mine. When I, Barbara, first met him with my 3 siblings , Sandra, Steven, Deborah and my parents, he used the cities Santa Barbara and San Diego as a way to remember our names. We were probably all under the age of 15 so was a fun way to connect. Worked well as he never forgot any of us through the years though we did not see him often. It was a clever idea and always made us smile when he would greet us as ” cities” before our real name.

Roc’s bright and joyful presence, always made people feel comfortable. He will be missed.

  4. Linda Cox says:

We enjoyed every minute that we spent with Roc. He was thoughtful, kind and funny. The love he had for his family is evident when you know his children.
We will join you in the celebration of his life.

I will definitely be there on the 15th. I have many fond memories of your father. He always had a huge smile on his face. He will be missed.
