With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Robert C. Meister, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. Robert was born on May 10, 1941. He was a United States Veteran who served our country in the United States Navy and Navy Reserves. He lived a life characterized by hard work, unwavering faith, and dedication to his family, friends and loved ones. He passed away on November 18, 2024, peacefully in his sleep with a huge smile on his face.
Robert was a man who leaves behind a legacy being a pillar of strength and lived his life as a reflection of his military disciplines and profound Christian faith. Throughout his life, he was known for his tireless work ethic, his kind spirit, and providing for his family.
Robert was married to the love of his life Shirley Ann (predeceased), the proud father of three children: Stacy N. Benda (Ryan), Robert G. Meister (Michelle), and Lynda F. Meister (Damon). He was a grandfather to nine grandchildren: William P. Hall, Jr. (Kayla), Alexander C. Benda (Hannah), Aaron M. Benda, Asia D. Ross, India M. Ross, Jacob B. Meister, Tyler J. Meister, Jordan M. Ross, and London E. Ross. And four great-grandchildren: Harper A. Hall, Delilah R. Hall, Everleigh R. Hall, and Maverick A.J. Hall.
Above all, Robert is reunited with his bride, Shirley Ann and in the presence of Jesus.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA. on December 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. following his final resting place at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. in Riverside, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Veteran's Fund of the Elks Lodge Mission Viejo ( www.MVElks.com ) in honor of his memory.
