  1. Dear Mary and the Kelly Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I feel like I’m taking a liberty calling him by his first name because he was always known as Mr.Kelly to us at AAU. After he retired I did call him Bob when we spoke. Since I now have the position he once held I can fully appreciate how difficult it was and the style and grace he exhibited. I worked for him a short eight years and I appreciated his warmth, kindness and sense of humor. He was a good man and fun to play with on the golf course. I can say most sincerely that all of us who worked with him could never have had a better boss. We have missed him since he left. I will call Mary in a few days.
