July 3, 1921 – July 5, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Eloise Warner; loving father of Robert III (Joanne), Diane (Martin) DePoint, Kim (Todd) Brown and Elizabeth (David) Johannes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bob grew up in Buffalo, NY with his brother Tom, who was a bit of a rascal. He attended Indiana University through a gymnastic scholarship. During that time, he escaped with his buddies to join the Navy in WWII. After his time in the Navy, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Indiana University. The next chapter of his life was the beginning of a fabulous love affair. He met a southern beauty from Harlingen, TX, Eloise Warner, on

a blind date who became his wife and soul mate of 45 years. Bob talked about her daily and his love never faded. Bob was also a teacher, coach and administrator with the Niagara Falls School District. He touched many lives throughout his years with the school district and was often referred to as “Coach Greene”. After Eloise’s death in 1996, Bob moved to southern California where he loved to golf, swim, enjoy days at Santa Anita Horse track and family trips to Palm Springs. Bob was 97 years old and his final chapter was about his love for Eloise and his family. Well done.
