  1. Nobody could ask for a better friend than Bob and Marlene. He and Marv met in the BOQ while waiting for housing for their families and became good friends with one another and Jack Daniels as well. Without children of their own, they became so loved by so many from small babies to young adults. Bob knew how to have a good time but was the consummate gentleman to the end. As long as our family gathers, the Shorts will always be an important part of our conversations and memories. Rubadubdub, Bob.

  2. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Bob and Marlene. Their kind and loving hearts will never be forgotten. I know their memory will live on in the many cherished friendships they maintained over their lifetime and they will be missed greatly. Hugs and kisses to you both. I hope you are having a wonderful dance together now that you are both at peace.
