Obituary

Robert Blair, born January 23, 1961, Meadville, Pennsylvania; died April 9, 2012, Capistrano Beach, California, of complications from liver and kidney failure. He graduated from North High School, and attended El Camino College, Torrance, California. Mr. Blair worked for various Pacific Bell and AT&T companies from the age of 18 until 46. His final position was as a Director in Cingular. He was predeceased by one of his younger sisters, Adriana (Drina) Jamison. Surviving are his parents, Manuel Robert Jamison and Carol Sofield Jamison, Dana Point; his sister, Karen-Leigh Beatty; nieces Kyleigh, Amanda and Lauren Beatty; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robert Blair loved music, art, people, and living in Kauai, Hawai’i. He enjoyed traveling, making arrangements for special events, and helping others to enjoy their lives. He was artistic, talented, creative, a puppeteer, an actor, an occasional accomplished writer and poet, and a sensitive person.

A service of memory will be held at the rose garden of Palisades United Methodist Church, Tuesday, May 1st, 4:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Robert Blair’s memory to Palisades United Methodist Church, Capistrano Beach; Family Assistance Ministries (FAM), San Clemente; Laguna Family Clinic, Laguna Beach.
