Obituary

We bid a fond farewell to the wonderful Rita Noël Humphry, or as she liked to be called, Noël Humphry. She gracefully left this world on July 11, 2023, in San Juan Capistrano, CA, at the age of 82. Born on May 25, 1941, in Monterey Park, she brought joy to all those around her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Dennis Humphry.

Noël, the daughter of Rita and Noël Baldwin, is survived by her brother, Al Baldwin, and her children: Brett Humphry, Holly Humphry-Karns, and Tim Humphry. She also leaves behind a bunch of grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Noël had a thirst for knowledge and quenched it by attending Cal State Long Beach. She was a true believer and found solace at Our Lady of Fatima Church. She had faith that could move mountains!

When she wasn’t busy being a loving mother and grandmother, Noël delighted in spending time with her family, singing with the church choir or anywhere for that matter, tending to her beloved plumeria and orchids (she had quite the green thumb!), and unleashing her creativity by making porcelain dolls and crafting. She always had a knack for turning everyday objects into works of art.

To honor and celebrate Noël’s remarkable life, a ceremony will take place on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church, located at 105 North La Esperanza, San Clemente, CA 92672. It will be a joyous occasion filled with memories and laughter, just the way Noël would have wanted it.

As we say goodbye to our dear Noël, let us remember her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She brought sunshine to our lives and left an indelible mark on our hearts. May she rest in eternal mirth and may her memory forever bring smiles to our faces.
