Richardson Michael Moore was born February 13, 1937 to Celeste Louise Moore from Washington D.C. and her husband Joseph Richard Moore of Indiana. His mom a Navy Nurse, his dad a Navy Pharmacist Mate both buried at Arlington.

As his dad was in the Navy he lived many places. Eventually settled down in Southern California in 1965.

He himself became a nurse at the age of 59 having had many interesting jobs along the way, a policeman, investigator for the Auditor Controller of LA County, small claims representative for Los Angeles Unified School District etc. Additionally he loved to umpire softball and referee basketball which he did after work.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Catherine Moore, his daughters Dawn Kozak and Dana Hancock, grandchildren Brittany Miller, Erica Hancock, and Meriah Long and a few great grandchildren.

He will be missed.
