Richard Chock Yen Leong, Sr., 83, "Teddy" was born December 12, 1927 in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away October 13, 2011 in Irvine, CA. Richard lived in Hawaii until he moved to California in 1956.

He will always be remembered as a sweet, kind and gentle man. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and many friends.

Richard is survived by his wife Josephine T. Leong; son Richard Chock Yen Leong, Jr., and his wife Theresa; daughter Kathleen Leong Compton; Brother Edwin Long; sisters Winifred Lau, Thelma Pedersen and Ruth Benoit; 7 grandchildren Benjamin, Chelsie, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Travis, Quinn and 4 great-grandchildren Isaiah, Amanda, Ava, Aaron.

A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Saddleback Church/Plaza Room, One Saddleback Dr. Lake Forest, CA.
