Dick, as I have shared with Susan and my sister, I KNOW you are up there entertaining Jesus with your music. I can see your smiling face as you play your guitar and realize the true meaning of “A Closer walk with Thee”.
Say hi to Deacon Chuck, Deacon Gaston, and all of our friends who, along with you, enjoy eternal peace and love on their 5th day.
Thank you for the beautiful gift of your family, who continues to be in mine and Derek’s prayers.

I have been thinking about what a world class, great guy my uncle is to me, how much I treasure my memories of the times I spent with him and my extended family. It kept coming to me that he was an A#1 guy, I don’t know why. Then it hit me, think of the day we lost him… 1-11-11. All ones. That’s a 5-star rating if I ever saw one.
No more bumps, Uncle Dick. I love you. Bubbs, aka Kirsten

I have so many memories of Dick. He was such a big part of Cursillo. I will always remember him leading the Agape musicians. One of my favorite memories is Dick letting Gaston use his studio to make his CD. Gaston was so appreciative and humbled that Dick helped him out so much. My heartfelt condolences go out to Pat and Susan and Mike and the entire family. You truly have another saint in heaven watching out for you. As Susan said, I bet Gaston and Dick are jamming away up in heaven.

Papa is a wonderful Grampa. We loved him so much, but when we found out, it broke our hearts. I had a special place in my heart for Grampa. It has been filled up with love all this time but now it is gone and there is a huge hole in my heart in the shape of Grampa Dick.
I love you so much Grampa – I will see you in heaven someday.
Love, Your Snicklefritz
