  2. Terry Owens says:

One of my favorite times with Richard Dixon was when I had use of the Bank’s suite at the Pond to see Eric Clapton. Richard looked just like the picture of Eric on his latest album so we rented a limo, arrived and acted as his entourage, and had everyone pointing and shouting, “There he is”. When Eric was due on stage we hid Richard in the back of the suite but to our surprise Eric came out on stage and had shaven his beard. Needless to say,we were BUSTED! Terry Owens

Our love and prayers are with you Aunt Penola and your family. Even though we did not see Ricky often we did enjoy the times we were together at Memaws and the time we visited him in Mission Vieho. He always had a great personality and always had something funny to say. Those memories will last a lifetime. We love you. Ronnie and Karen

  5. I am a travel nurse from Texas and helped take care of Richard in the Coronado ICU. He was very determined to help get his strength back to make the transplant list. We worked together with leg and arm excercises. I am so sorry for your loss. Richard had a special spirit that touched us all. God bless to you and yours and know that you have an angel looking over you now.
