Richard Baird Merchant was born May 14, 1945 in Syracuse, New York and passed away May 3, 2007 in Mission Viejo, California. He was 61. Richard served our country during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant in the Air Force. He was very proud of his service to our country. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and worked as an Accountant for 30 years. Richard is survived by his son, David Baird Merchant; daughter, Diana Baun and her husband, Gregory and granddaughter, Karyl Ann Baun.
