For me Rick was a mentor in business and life and made himself readily available for guidance, I will miss him greatly and will look to him still as an angel on my shoulder.

    Marianne-
I am sorry that I could not attend Rick’s service last Saturday. I hope that you received my card extending my deepest sympathy to you and your children. I recall one conversation I had with Rick earlier this year at lunch. He was describing Jason’s talents on the football field and realized his son had become quite a phenom when he was introduced as Jason’s dad vs. Jason is my son. “Second fiddle”, as Rick said, wasn’t too shabby when taken in the context of your son’s success. I really enjoyed working with Rick these past eight years – he was a rock in the midst of our corporate chaos. He will be sorely missed by all.

    Regards,

    Marianne, Kristen, Jason and family:

When I heard what happened to Rick I was shocked. I have not spoken to him for about 4 years but it did not feel like it was that long. I met him about 15 years ago when we were involved in Mortgage Stars. I skied with him, worked with him, went out to dinner, laughed, spoke on the phone, he worked for me a short while, and of course, Kristen worked for me and still works where I do.

Rick was a great guy! He was funny, he was professional, he was honest, he was handsome, he tried to make things happen for people even when there was nothing in it for him. He was blessed.

When i think about this it makes me very sad and it makes me cry. I will miss him,

    John Terveer
