Richard A. Karoly passed away on April 30.

Services will be held on May 24 at the South Shores Church In Dana Point, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Tricia.

Richard was born in Cleveland, Ohio December 31, 1943. He graduated from Miami University, Oxford Ohio. He earned his Masters in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling from University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado.

He was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps joining in 1965. He served two tours in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9934, Dana Point, Military Officers Association of America and the American Legion.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Fisher House in memory of Rick.
Please send donation, to the V F W Post 9934, in care of Maurice Hansen, Post Commander. The Post will ensure that your donation goes to the fund to build a Fisher House for the Long Beach VA Hospital where Rick was a patient. Fisher House is a residence for the families of patients hospitalized at Veterans Hospitals and they are building one at Long Beach.
