Richard Jerome O’Neill

Born May 3, 1923 in Los Angeles, died Saturday, April 4, at The Ranch House, Rancho Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano.

Predeceased by his wife of fifty-one years, Donna, Uncle Richard is survived by his sister, Alice O’Neill Avery; his nephews Tony Melinda and Jerome Judith Moiso and Douglas Avery Lisa; eight grandnieces and nephews, Trina Lamkin Marc, Cristy Sellas Eric, Anne Marie Leonard Jim, Frandy Laster Jeremy, Jerome Joseph Moiso, and Eric, Lauren and Richard Avery; and eleven great-grandnieces and nephews, Sienna Shattuck, Austin and Ava Lamkin, Daisy and Mandy Sellas, Reese and Luke Leonard, and Anthony, Auggie, John and Dorathy Laster.

Uncle Richard’s love of life, family, good food and drink, ?The Ranch,? cattle ranching, all sports, politics, horse racing, Beverly Hills High School, the Navy, all branches of military service, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, history, the restaurant/bar business, the stock market, San Juan Capistrano, the Old Mission, people, friends and ?Good Times? is legendary. His laughter will be missed forever.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2009.
