Obituary

Richard Francis Landry was born on December 4th, 1932, in Hartford, Connecticut.

The youngest of 7 siblings, Richard developed a love for the arts and music at an early age, performing dance and acting in the theater. After graduating from Hollywood High School he then attended the University of Southern California; he loved his USC Trojans! Richard went on to serve his country in the United States Army, spending time in Korea.

Richard then met the love of his life Maria Del Carmen Siverio, marrying her and fathering three children. He went on to have a successful career as an accounting professional; both in the movie studios as well as the garment industry.

Richard is known for his many accomplishments; none greater than putting faith and family first. His dedication and sacrifice for others will be one of his greatest legacies.

Richard touched many lives as a devoted family man, a loyal friend, a skilled actor and musician, a sports lover, and a caring member of the community. Richard will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends.

Richard Francis Landry is survived by his wife Maria Del Carmen, daughters Annette and Michele, his son Richard, son-in-Law Ed and his grandchildren; Brianna, Marisa, Jessica, and Jacob.

Funeral Mass will be held July 23rd, 10:00 a.m. at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano.

Thank you for all of the wonderful memories on summer vacations with you, Mrs. Landry and Michele in San Francisco and regular visits to your home to hang out with my bestie. 3. My sincerest condolences to the Landry family. I remember Mr. Landry with fondness. He welcomed me and the boys into his home even though at times we were a bit unruly (where is Uncle Henry?). He always smiled and had encouraging words. I look back and laugh at all the great memories. MR. LANDRY WAS SIMPLY THE BEST!

  4. Mr. Landry was a wonderful man with a wonderful family he was like a favorite uncle who was always in a good mood and always made you laugh. His daughter Annette is one of my closest & dearest friends (roomies together at their Huntington Park house) I was always welcomed with open arms and remember fondly our trip to Vegas together and listening to his stories. Time to rest with no worries Mr. Landry….You will be missed and always thought of fondly with a smile and a laugh.

  5. Sending love and prayers to you all. Michele and Nettie you took such great care of your dad and did everything to give him the best. The love you showed him was beautiful. I have enjoyed all the fun stories of your dad over the years working with Nettie. Give Brianna a hug from me.
