Richard A. Brown, Sr. of Laguna Woods, CA passed away on March 29 ^th ,  2019 at the age of 80. He was the loving husband of Carol A. Brown. Born in Hartford CT and pre-deceased by Leonard A. Brown and Claire L. Brown. He leaves behind a sister, Susan Evans.

Richard was a member of CT Army National Guard and a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. His tireless work ethic was unmistakable as he worked his way from grocery clerk to Division V.P. for Sun-Maid Growers of California. He retired in 2001 to travel, play golf and spend more time with his family. He was a mentor and a teacher leaving his family a lasting legacy.

He is survived by his children: Richard A. Brown Jr. (Alison), Valerie E. Huffer (Brian Sr.) & Monique C. Djerf (Larry). He will be greatly missed by his beautiful grandchildren: Richard A. Brown III, Nicholas A. Brown, Nathan J. Proffitt (Jennifer), Brian J. Huffer Jr., Abbey L. Huffer, Cecelia Djerf.
