Richard Neil Briley, 78, was born September 6, 1932 in Montebello, CA and peacefully passed away August 4, 2011 at home in Mission Viejo, CA.

Richard retired at 55 and moved to Costa Del Sol with his wife in 1986. He was an avid gardener and shuffleboard player.

Richard is survived by Florence, his wife of 52 years; daughter Karen Briley; son Keith Briley; granddaughter Jessica Rose Briley; and grandson Richard Dylan Briley. Richard was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

A viewing will take place Friday, 8/12/2011 from 6:00-9:00pm at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA. A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, 8/13/2011 at 10:00am at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 26872 Estanciero Dr., Mission Viejo, CA. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange, CA.
