  1. I loved his jokes, the hats he wore and I remember taking my oldest son Sean to him for his 1st confession… prior to the “official” first reconciliation! Sean had done something naughty and I thought Father Mac could have a talk with hIm! It was very sweet. Last St. Patrick’s Day I took him some goodies, Irish soda bread, to the nursing home. We will miss him.

  2. As will so many others, the Cabang family will forever treasure Father Mac’s warmth and humor, in which could always be felt the loving hand of God. From his regular place in our churchgoing experience to the service he led honoring the memory of our beloved Francis Sr., we are grateful his joyful presence has touched our worship and our lives.

  3. Patti Rabun says:

Father Mac helped my daughter, Julianne, with her First reconciliation. He was funny, light-hearted, strong, and loving. We all sat with them, Juli and Father, and so learned about love, religion, what our faith was all about, and most importantly, what was forgiveness.
We will always remember father’s special warm smile and his sunny attitude. With much love and appreciation.
