Renee Lise Wood was a beloved wife and mother. She passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on Friday, the 2nd of August 2013. She is survived by her husband, Don; her two daughters, Gabrielle and Monique; her four siblings, Jacques, Andre, Denyse and Huguette; and her many wonderful nieces and nephews.

She was born in New Brunswick in 1957 and later moved to California, where she eventually met Don and married him in 1988. She was a very caring, funny, laidback and passionate person, who was nearly always bursting with uncontrollable laughter.

Renée loved gardening, hiking, and being around friends and family. Her favorite place in the world was Tuolomne Meadows, where she would hike with her best friend, Yoko, and her family often. She was game for anything, and loved to try new things.

She lived by the three words: Live, Laugh, Love. She did this to the fullest, and livened the atmosphere up with her joyful personality.

She was much loved, and will be missed very solely by all of those that she has touched.
