Romero, Rene Gustavo, born December 13, 1938, passed away January 23, 2010.

Beloved husband, father, father-in-law, tata, brother, brother-in-law, tio, primo, compadre, nino, and friend, our Dad was a hard-working man who enjoyed taking the occasional trip to the casino, eating anything chocolate, watching his shows on television and spending time with his family and friends.

We will miss him terribly. His final battle with Leukemia was the last of many. We will always remember his wisdom and ability to comfort those around him.

Survived by his wife of 45 years, Maggie, their children and their families: Rene son, Donna, Christopher, Oscar son, Lisa, David, Grayson, Celena daughter, Clemente, Clemente, Vicente, Alex son, and Nichole. Predeceased by his brother Ruben, his father Julio, his mother Manuela and his brother-in-law George. Survived by his sisters, Virginia and Rosa and his sister-in-law Margaret.

Our Dad will also be missed by countless family members and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be held on January 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church, 21682 Lake Forest Drive, Lake Forest, CA 92630 949 951-8599 to be followed by his interment at the El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630 949 951-8244.
