Obituary
Remigia (Midge) M. Marinello was born on August 18, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to Nicholas & Marietta Maggio. She passed to her Heavenly Father December 23, 2011 in Lake Forest, California at 92 years young. Midge began her acting career at the age of five. By the age of sixteen she was directing little theater & had established the group called ‘The Maggio Players’. She graduated with a BA degree form the Chicago Conservatory of Speech & Drama.
She continued her career until 1943 when she married Salvatore Marinello (deceased) & proceeded to raise a family. At the age of fifty she returned to her theatrical career in stage, movies & television commercials. She was a life long member of Screen Actor’s Guild & Actor’s Equity. She was an avid reader & loved acting, family & friends.
She is survived by her son Robert Marinello of Prescott, Arizona, daughter Donna Marinello-Davis & son-in-law Francis Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada.
A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday January 26, 2012 at 10:00AM at Freedom Village Pavalion, 23442 El Toro Road, Lake Forest, California. Following Mass a graveside service will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, California.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association online at http://www.diabetes.org/donate/ and in memory of Remigia Marinello. Please pray for the repose of Remigia’s soul.

Donna and Bob,
I was in a store just before Christmas picking out a perfume as a gift. A girlfriend was with me and I turned to her and said, “This one smells like my Aunt Midge.” Of course she had no idea but I explained that I always like the way my Aunt Midge smelled. The silly things we hold on to.
I know your heart is heavy right now, but eventually you will be able to laugh and tell fun “Mom” stories again without crying. Cherish those memories.

Bob and Donna,
I have so many memories of your mom that I cherish. She used to call me “Dolly” with such affection. From the day we met we were friends and confidants. She had grace, she had stile and she had wisdom.
After she and Sul moved to California, I could always call her when I was down and we would end up laughing by the end of the conversation. Bill told me that he was the only man alive with 2 mother-in-laws!
I feel badly that I did not get to talk with her before she died, but I think she knew that I loved her and will miss her.
She was a super lady and I know there is a large whole for you right now, but know that she is watching over you.
My daughter is getting married this next Friday and I wish she were here to share my joy.
I will keep her in my prayers.

Our Mom-
A gracious, proud & loving woman who always seemed to find the right words in times of happiness,sadness, anger & joy. We will miss her. I will miss my monthly weekends with her & daily phone calls & especially her loving smile – tears always occurred when we had to part.
She was a wonderful mother friend & confidant. Mom will always be in Bob’s & my hearts with warm memories.

“My friend Midge”
I had the priviledge and honor to meet Midge through her son Bob-when we were
neighbors in Ingleside, Il The first tiime wre met there was an instant connection between this warm,loving,jovial lady and myself. We became fast friends. Whenever
Midge came to illinois, we would make plans that included lunches, and or dinners and
of course, a trip to my beautician. There was never a day when Midge did not look her very best ! But then, Midge was beautiful– both inside and out. Midge loved to entertain
me with stories from her past. We had many a laugh over Donna and Bob(her pride and joys) growing up and making her many commercials. When Midge no longer traveled,we
would chat on the phone as I would love to hear her sweet voice.She always called me ‘baby’ and I will miss that immensely. I feel now that I have an additional guardian angel in Heaven, and that Midge will always be protecting me.
Rest in Peace Midge….you are the best !
