  2. WE only met a couple of times, but it is obvious to me why you will be SO missed!!!

  3. Mr. Woods was a warm, wonderful, funny and wise person and teacher. I was lucky enough to be in choir with him throughout HS at DHHS. He was an amazing musician and teacher. The first year he started we had no boys in choir, so he went out to stone hill where all the “stoners” hung out, and got them all to come in and try choir. They were all still there singing amazingly 4 years later! I remember him saying once that people today don’t want to put in the time to practice, they think they want their freedom. But when he was young, you just knew you had to practice everyday to get good, and you did it. Then you would eventually have the true freedom of being able to play anything you wanted. He was a living example. Boy was he right. Thank you for everything, Mr. Woods. You were loved!

  4. Mr Woods was such a wonderful human being and a truly cherished teacher and mentor.

Thank you for the wonderful memories and for believing in each and every one of us. You will be missed.

  5. Mr Woods was one of the best and most understanding teachers I ever had. I spent 4 years learning from him. He taught much more than just music. He touched so many lives.
