MILLER, Ralph Howard

Ralph was a man of few words in his later years, which stood in stark contrast to the man many new during his days when he was building his company. Miller Castings Inc. an aerospace foundry, in Whittier, California, stands as a monument to perseverance. Ralph started Miller Castings in 1972 in an empty warehouse, and in spite of two destructive fires, he managed to build the company into the industry leader that it is today. Not only did Ralph build his company, he developed many of the standards that are being used by foundries around the world.

Ralph is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a brother, and many friends and admirers.

Ralph was assisted in his later years by two angels named Maria. These sisters from El Salvador gave their heart to Ralph everyday, allowing Ralph to enjoy the fruits of his labor well into his 80's.

There are not many men who have the roar of a lion and the understanding of a sage, but Ralph was one of those men and he will be terribly missed.
