It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Frank Tackes announces his passing on Thursday, November 2, 2017.

Ralph was born on November 6, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Nicholas and Barbara Tackes. Ralph received his BA from Loyola University and proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Ralph is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Melissa Jean; son Thomas (wife Katy); daughter Mary (husband Mark); daughter Jane (husband Dave); daughter Judith (husband Jay); son Nicholas (wife Ana); Grandchildren: Zachary, Joshua, Sara, Nicholas, Rachel, Lily, Ava, Tate, Nathan, Matthew, Madeline and Great-granddaughter Rayne.
