Phyllis Dickson was born at Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles on January 19, 1929. Phyllis grew up in Huntington Park with her parents Vickie and Phil LaMarca and her sister Virginia.

In 1946 Phyllis met the love of her life Bill Dickson. Their blind date, arranged by their parents, led to a marriage that lasted 65 wonderful years. Bill and Phyllis raised their two daughters, Nancy and Marie, in Torrance, California where Bill worked in aerospace and Phyllis was a homemaker and banking professional. In 1991 the couple moved to Mission Viejo where they happily lived in Palmia.

Phyllis loved her family, her pets, gardening, reading, and going to the theatre. She was active in many clubs and enjoyed performing in the Palmia Players theatrical group for 20 years. But most of all she loved Bill.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, her two daughters, her older sister and four grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.
