COOK, PHYLLIS G. 85

A beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Auntie and Friend, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord January 13th, 2007 in Torrance, California.

Phyllis was born July 6, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles Kuhn and Helen Mitchell and the family moved West in 1927. She spent many years employed as a waitress and bookkeeper. Phyllis traveled the world with her sisters and cherished people and life, making friends
wherever she went.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Gary Parker Susan and Marty Hoy Cheryl as well as by her sister, Audrey Fred; grandsons Toby Hoy Rebecca, Jacob Hoy Leslie; great-grandchildren Hailey and Madison and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Alvera Frisco Frank.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at O'Connor Mortuary 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, California.

Rosary will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 ~ 10:00 A.M. at St. Kilian Church, 26872 Estanciero Drive, Mission Viejo, California. Funeral Mass immediately follow at 10:30 A.M. with Internment to follow at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California.
