Phyllis Haviland Blanchard passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010. Born July 23, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Philip and Mildred Lewis, Phyllis was a devout Christian, and a loyal wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Professionally, Phyllis worked for the last 20 years in residential real estate, most recently with Coldwell Banker. Phyllis enjoyed her family, the beaches of Southern California, Angels’ baseball and making people smile.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jan Blanchard; sister Patricia Lewis; daughter Laura; son Philip and his wife Cari; and five grandchildren Gabriella, Hannah, Colin, Braydon and Luke.

A memorial service celebrating her life is being held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo, California.

In lieu of flowers, her family recommends donations to Mission Hospital Foundation c/o Cardio-Pulmonary Care.
