Phillip Lander Defibaugh died surrounded by his loving family on May 31, 2024, in Mission Viejo, California at the age of 32.

Phillip is survived by his parents, Stephen and Sharon of Mission Viejo and his younger sister Grace and younger brother Ethan.  Phillip is also survived by his grandmother Jeanette Lander and many uncles, aunts, and cousins in both the United States and Australia.

Phillip was born on June 13, 1991 in Newport Beach, California.  He graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2009.  He also attended Irvine Valley College.  He moved to Arizona in his early twenties to continue his college courses and later moved to Georgia, where he continued working.

Phillip had many adventures in his life that included trips to Australia to see his family there. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 604 after starting out as a Tiger Cub when he was in elementary school.  Phillip made many friends along the way in scouting, as he moved across the country, and in online gaming.  Phillip enjoyed camping and fishing in the Sierras with his family and friends.  He also liked to work with graphic design and computer software.

The funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on June 15th at O'Connor Mortuary located at 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, California, with a lunch to follow at the mortuary.  Michael Defibaugh will officiate the ceremony.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Phillip's life.  A webcast will also be available at the following link for those who cannot attend the ceremony; https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTcxNzM4NzczNjMxMTk4MSZvbmVyb29tLWFkbWluJmNvcHlfbGluaw ==
