To Tamra, MaryKay, Stuart, Scarlet and family. Our hearts have been so heavy since we heard this news about Philip. We ache for you all and we are bringing you before the Lord in prayer often. I pray comfort for you and know that at the heart of that prayer requires pain for we cannot be comforted without need for it.

Dear Blake Family — I am still stunned at this devastating tragedy that your family has had to endure. I’ve been praying for you daily since I first heard about what happened to Philip. I’m sure that having to plan his memorial has been very difficult and have been praying that Our Lord has enveloped you in His magnificent peace during this heart wrenching time. It is also my prayer that any investigation that is being done surrounding the circumstances of this tragedy finds answers for you and your family. I know we are not supposed to ask God why, but when something like this happens, it’s so hard NOT to ask why. I am planning on attending the memorial on Saturday and look forward to giving you guys a big hug. Give Miss Scarlett a kiss from Miss Dee. She was such a help in the coffee shop.
